Sacha Blanchet  recently joined BH Skating International as a principal performer and entertainment consultant. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada Sacha brings more than a decade of professional skating experience to BHSP. We are happy to include Sasha in our company and confident that his talents will be a valuable asset to our entertainment division. A former Canadian national pairs champion, Sacha has traveled around the world appearing as professional both as a single and adagio pair performer. Most notably Sacha was invited to serve as a professional skaters for several of the European versions of Skating with the Stars. Remember the stars of the show were non-skaters, Sacha taught his partner the moves and then helped make it look so easy during the performance. Sacha is available as a solo or pair performer.
Valérie Marcoux is a three-time Canadian National Pairs champion from St. Leonard, Quebec and recently retired from competitive skating in April of 2007. A year ago in Calgary, Valérie and her partner soared to fifth place at the worlds -- their highest placement at the event and ended her career with a sixth place finish at the 2007 World Championships in Tokyo worlds. Also to Valérie's credit is an impressive 11th-place finish at the 2006 Turin Olympics, which she considers a career highlight. "My dream was just to do pairs skating," said Marcoux, a silver medallist in novice singles at the 1996 nationals in Ottawa. "To have three Canadian championships was a big achievement. In addition to her competitive credits, Valérie has also appeared in popular skating movies, lending her talents as a skater double for lead actresses. Chad Goodwin is from Calgary, Alberta Canada and is a former international compeitor, four-time Canadian national competitor, two time provincial mens champion, and former student of BHSP's founder and president. For the past four years Chad has been perfecting his professional skills as an entertainer and show director aboard the Royal Carribean. As a principal soloist Chad has headlined his skills in a variety of shows including Ice Jammin - Planet Ice - Ice Under the Big Top - Cool Art Hot Ice - Blades The Ice Challenge - Ice Dancin Spirits of the Seasons, including performances throughout Mexico with Festival On Ice.  You may be interested to know that it is Chad performing as a last minute replacement for our mascot seen on Our Services page. We couldn't ask for a better combination of enthusiasm and personality. Chad is available for limited performances and is currently booked throughout the Holiday season.
Laura Carreon & Luke Muñana As dual citizens of both the USA and Mexico they have had the opportunity to compete at the national level in both countries and are the current Mexican National Champions. Together they have represented that country at competitions all over the world including two World Championships and Four Continents Grand Prix competitions.  Avid athletes, Luke and Laura began their skating careers as competitive roller skaters and soon found their way to the ice. As skaters they competed in both pair skating and ice dance and feature a wide variety of adagio moves and lifts in their performances. Laurais an accomplished vocalist and music instructor, while Luke is pursuing interests in audio-visual technology including theatrical design and coaches figure skating.
